Hello and welcome back to our blog!
The last few weeks have been filled with lots of fun and learning. We have been learning all about robots and have been able to work around this topic with lots of fun filled activities in numeracy, literacy, science, food technology DT and art.
The children have built a magnificent robot called Beadlebot, who is currently on display in our classroom. He was made after careful consideration about which material we needed to use to make it. In the end we made the sensible decision of cardboard. We painted it beautifully; Ludmila was able to make a lovely painting on the eye gaze device too just to add to the magnificence!
As part of our literacy we were then able to make a set of instructions on how to make a robot! Also in literacy we have been reading lots of stories about robots which have engaged the children across all abilities!
In Science we have done lots of work around magnets and forces, which has tied in nicely to our topic on robots. In food tech we have made some lovely robot biscuits!
We hope you have a lovely weekend and we shall see all your lovely children on Monday!
