This week we have started our topic work for the term, we are learning about landmarks where we live. So where better to head to than the Angel of the North?

The children had a fabulous afternoon on Tuesday experiencing the giant steel sculpture. They enjoyed climbing on the feet of the angel and sliding back down. The weather was beautiful and the children embraced the big grass hill by doing roly-poly’s from the top to the bottom. Some children even made their own angel’s by using their shadows. A great afternoon was had by the whole class.

Our next trip will be on the morning of Tuesday 24th September. We are heading to the Quayside in Newcastle to look at some more landmarks
