On Monday we started a new sensory story – ‘Dinosaurs in the supermarket’. We had so much fun exploring all the food that the dinos made a huge mess with! In the afternoon we had a great PE session. We engaged in some fantastic team work and communication.

To go with our new story all about dinosaurs in the supermarket, we have turned our role play area into a supermarket! We have loved taking turns buying and selling lots of food, and have been using our fantastic counting skills to find the right money.
In the afternoon we spoke about Remembrance Day and why we might see Poppies. We even made some Poppy pictures of our own.

On Wednesday we had a wonderful yoga session, learning about lots of different dinosaurs! Then we had a treat – a visit from the local community fire brigade! The children loved exploring the fire engine and chatting to the fire fighters! In the afternoon we made some dinosaur skeleton pictures to put on our classroom display.

On Thursday we had lots of fun at hydrotherapy and soft play. We were very tired out! In the afternoon we went to the food tech room to make some dinosaur fossils just like the ones we have been learning about.

On Friday we had a very special remembrance assembly. We sang songs, looked at photos, and spoke all about the war and the people who helped us. We looked at the lovely poppies that we made, as well as the poppies made by friends from other classes. In the afternoon we did dinosaur dough disco. We are getting so much better at all of the tricky moves!
