Last Monday we welcomed Simon to Hadrian School. The children have been super kind and helpful in welcoming Simon to our great school. He’s had a fabulous first week with us.

What a busy week we’ve had. We decided we would decorate plant pots and plant a beautiful Primrose to take home to our mums for Mother’s Day. We hope you liked them.

We continue to work on our Art pieces, We are arranging to have them displayed in the Key Stage 1 corridor and all of the classes are going to add photographs of their children through the year. It’s going to look stunning.

We have loved exploring the role of a police Officer again.Llast time it was Community Service, picking up litter and this week some children were lost and the Police Officers had to find them using the Walkie Talkies. It was such good fun and incorporated so many different skills including, speaking and listening, reading and writing, working together, physical skills and of course learning all about what Police Officers do. We played “The Laughing Policeman” on the Smart board which was absolutely hilarious with children lying on the floor laughing! We’ll have to put it on again and record it for you to see.

We hope all you mummies are having a lovely day today.
