We brought in some snails that were living in Babs’ garden for the children to explore and learn about. We found out all sorts of amazing things ( many things that the staff didn’t know about either!)
We kept them for about two weeks and then Babs took them back and set them free.

A few weeks ago some children went out on the minibus to visit a Metro Station and ride on the train. This visit was very much inspired by James as he absolutely loves trains. They all had a great time and James even got to “drive” the train!
Some children stayed in class where we enjoyed a wonderful relaxing Spa afternoon with our friends from Dave’s class.

At the beginning of October we arranged a visit to a wonderful Early Years Centre in Cruddas Park. We were particularly interested in making links with another school and also exploring their outdoor area. We went on the mini bus and we were so lucky with the weather as it was glorious.
We had such a good time exploring all the different areas and activities in the outdoor space. Each and every child was fully engaged throughout the visit. All too soon it was time to go back. We could have stayed all day!
We are looking forward to their children coming to visit us very soon.

We have missed writing our Blogs and we know you have missed reading them. We have so much to catch up on.
Last week we enjoyed our Harvest Festival Assembly and as part of the celebrations, each class made a scarecrow. We spent the previous week making “Paddyman”. Paddy works so hard looking after our school that we think he is a Superhero, hence the name. He looked amazing as you can see. If you would like to see the scarecrows you can view them all where they are displayed next to the tractor.
