This week we were lucky enough celebrate not one but two birthdays. We have been working hard on our Arts Award Logs and our Fairy House as well as those who are involved have been practicing for the Shakespeare in Schools Festival. Next week is our final week before the end of term and then we will be into the last term here at Hadrian for our Year 6 children. Have a lovely weekend.

We have had another excellent week. We have had our first swimming session for a while and the children loved it. On Wednesday we went to the Caterpillar Garden to see all the daffodils the classes have made for the National Day of Reflection. Today we have enjoyed an achievers assembly and our rebound session this afternoon. Have a lovely weekend.

We have had a wonderful World Book Week. We have enjoyed our Shrove Tuesday assembly where we enjoyed the traditional pancake making. On Thursday we had our World Book Day assembly where we watched the Masked Reader and had our catwalk showing off our costumes with adults and children. We also went to the yurt which has been transformed into Wendy’s bedroom from Peter Pan. All of our class received medals from Mr Rolling’s in assembly for how well the children’s performed for Ann’s leaving assembly. Have a lovely weekend.

Dear Parents/Carers
We have come to an end of another year. Thank you for all your support this year it has been another hugely successful year but a strange one none the less. The children were amazing in our nativity story and I will put a bumper blog on with the Christmas activities. We have also said good bye to Mrs Stokle, Miss Lambert and Claire today. The videos we are using for evidence are nearly ready to send home but each one takes an hour to upload so they will be sent home in stages next year. Thank you for all the gifts and cards and we hope you have a lovely Christmas and a happy new year.

We have arrived at the end of our first half term. We have had a fabulous time back at school and we thank you for all of your support. The children have achieved so much already and we are looking forward to the rest of the school year. We have bonfire night to look forward to next month which will be our first event back all together as a school, then the run up to Christmas will be here before we know it. We have had a lovely week. The children loved our first educational visit since the pandemic began and we were very lucky to watch Tarzanna at the Gosforth Civic Theatre. Tarzanna was an multi sensory aerial theatre production. We have also been busy making a back drop for the Timbadash production which is happening in school. Next week we will having lots of Halloween activities and it is the final week before we break up for half term. Have a lovely weekend.

We have had an excellent week. We were lucky to have music therapy in the Sea Shanty Shack this week with Tom and Phillipa. Shirley’s son also brought in an army vehicle for the children to look at and climb on board which they loved. We have been making a hot stone soup video for Pat our chair of governors church. We have had another great week here. We are enjoying running in PE and we slowly increasing our stamina. We have started to celebrate harvest and we will be looking at harvest in Iraq next week. The highlight has been jumping in the puddles after the heavy rain in our outdoor gear. We had another fantastic swimming lesson at Sir Charles Parsons School thank you for sending in swimming kits. Thank you for your donations for the harvest festival they are much appreciated and will go to a good cause. Have a lovely weekend.

What a lovely week we have had. We have enjoyed our first swimming lesson at Sir Charles Parsons and it was great to see some old friends there. We also loved the Columbian music concert on Tuesday. We were in the Yurt yesterday and made curry soup on the stove. The children did not enjoy it. We also had our first Kangaroo Club with Rob today and the children loved it. Have a lovely weekend.

We have had a fantastic first few days back. We have all settled in to the routine again and we are looking forward to our first full week back together. Today we have enjoyed rebound and our first assembly of the school year. We are very lucky to be swimming at Sir Charles Parsons School every Tuesday. This is to begin the transition progress for our year 6 children and it will be great for those in year 5 to get familiar with the school to. Can we please have swimming kits sent into school please? We will also be having group music therapy sessions on a Wednesday afternoon. I will send home our time table via class dojo. Have a lovely a weekend.
