We have had a very busy week the highlights being a lovely trip to Cragside National Trust. When we arrived we went for a carriage drive around the estate passing all the formal gardens and the Iron Bridge. We then went for a multisensory walk around the lake and the dam. It was light drizzle and the children enjoyed the experience of feeling the rain on their faces. Asanosi and John loved the “Bare Foot Trail” feeling the different terrain under their feet. We then finished our trip at Cragside café to enjoy the delicious food and we met a lovely dog named Daisy!
Yet another outing on Thursday to the Nuns Moor Fair. This was organised by Northumbria Police who joined in with the fun letting the children try on their hats and assisting the children on and off the rides. We would like to say a huge thank you to the organisers of this event as great fun was had by all.
Well done to Rehan for getting our half term Achiever’s award!
