Our Spring Term Creative Curriculum topic is ‘Fairy tales’ and we have been focusing on Goldilocks and the Three Bears. Our class team transformed the work room into an Enchanted Forest for the children to enjoy. We have been using the Enchanted Forest as a setting for our Sensory Story. Goldilocks takes a walk through the woods and finds the bears’ house, where she explores both warm and cold porridge, takes a bath (bubble machine and water spray), dries her hair (hairdryer on a switch) and lots more! The children have shown some fantastic communicative responses, telling us whether they’d like ‘more’ or to ‘stop’ the different stimuli.
