Hello,

My name is Pat Fox. I have been a member of Hadrian’s Governing Body since I retired as a Senior Teacher at Hadrian in 2009. I have been Chair for the past 8 years.

I have previously worked as an Infant Teacher and I have also worked in most of the Specialist Schools in Newcastle. I am a member of Newcastle City’s SACRE Committee which leads on all matters relating to religion in all off Newcastle’s Schools.

I am married with two adult daughters and four adult grandsons.

Since I was eight years old I have been very involved in Girl Guiding and now I manage the shop selling badges, uniforms etc. I have held many roles within this organisation, including running Rainbow, Brownie and Guide units. I have also held management roles and for many years I have been the adviser for members with additional needs (both adults and girls) in the Girl Guiding world.

I am also very involved with our United Reform Church in the West End where my husband and I are both Elders.

I am very proud of Hadrian School which is superbly led by Chris and his Leadership Team. We have an amazing staff and wonderful children at Hadrian.
