We had a cozy day in the yurt this week, it was very frosty outside but we still spent the morning doing some activities outside. We began with collecting as many different coloured items as we could find such as leaves, grass and twigs we even found a daisy. We placed our items on a plate then poured over some water and put them outside for the night hoping to find a beautiful frozen sun catcher.

We drew our names and did some mark making in the ice, then headed into the cozy yurt for crumpets and hot chocolate. We then looked out of the windows saying what we could see and giving the best description we could, we impressed our teachers with the words we used.

In the afternoon we had a sing along around the log burner then enjoyed a few games.

We are very proud of our finished suncatchers although they did not last long in class today, but we had lots of fun and laughter as they melted to our touch.

Well done to Kai our half term achiever, we are so proud of the progress you have made!
