This week we have started our new topic of South America. We have learnt all about Brazil and we imagined as if we were at a Rio carnival and have done  samba dancing. We have also learnt different facts about Brazil and what the flag looks like. We then later recreated the flag in one of our art lessons and it looks amazing!!

We have also started our new topic in Maths, which is all about counting and halving numbers. It was so good to get our Maths brains at the ready again as we have been so busy with our Shakespeare performance.

As you know, our Year 6’s and Ella all went to the Northern stage last Friday to perform King Lehr. They were all incredibly amazing and so professional.

As a lot of our school friends weren’t able to watch it, they then performed it again in the Hall and everyone was so amazed by it all.

On Thursday afternoon we had all our parents in for a coffee afternoon. It was so lovely to all get together for the first time this year. We showed our parents all our hard work and the fun activities that we have done so far.
