Welcome back everybody! We hope you’ve all had a fun and exciting Easter Holidays (and not eaten too much chocolate!) – we have had an amazing first week back!

We began our new topic this week and will be learning all about what makes our home town of Newcastle so special! We looked at Newcastle’s different bridges, our love of football, our delicious food and our historical castles! We made up an action for each of these to help us remember and even transformed our Sports Hall into our very own mini Newcastle.

We have, of course, looked back at our staggering triumph at the Northern Stage where we performed ‘Othello’ as part of the Shakespeare Schools Festival. We selected a picture from our official set of photographs (some of which can be seen below) and painted our own interpretation with amazing results.
