The Christmas festivities have continued all this week!
On Wednesday, we did some festive baking and we made not one, but TWO things!
First of all, we made marshmallow snowmen that we decorated with chocolate Matchsticks and skillfully drew eyes and noses on using icing pens – tricky work!
We also made reindeer cakes – chocolate buns with pretzels for antlers, a Smartie for a nose and chocolate buttons for eyes. It was great fun making them all and, as well as sending a cake home, we also got to eat one at snack time!
On Thursday we had the Key Stage 2 Christmas party. Everyone looked amazing in their Christmas party outfits and had lots of fun playing games in the hall, having a dance and then eating lots of lovely party food in class. Of course, we were very lucky to have ANOTHER visit from Santa who gave us a present each – obviously we have all been very good this year!
It has been a fantastic last week of the autumn term and the Class 5 team would like to wish everyone a very Happy Christmas and New Year! See you in 2020!
