Class 3/4 thoroughly enjoyed getting dressed up for world book day yesterday. There were some fantastic outfits from both children and staff. The day was filled with some excellent reading with different friends around school. We also went on our very own treasure hunt in the morning to find some of the much loved books we have in Hadrian. Ending the hunt with a special yummy treat for the children to eat. We ended a very exciting day with a whole school assembly. We got to witness some of the most incredible well thought out costumes from across the school, cheering our friends on as they walked down the cat walk to show them off. We also were able to take part in and watch some great performances of well-loved stories. A great day had by all!
