What a week we have had this week!

We have had a lovely first week back this week and we have had a week full of fun activities.

On Monday we had a day filled with performing arts activities, we had sensory stories and did some amazing acting of the story Peter pan.

On Tuesday we managed to grab a slot in our Hydro pool, we all loved this and had the most fun session splashing our friends.

On Wednesday we had yet another exciting day, we went out into the Yurt in the morning which was set up as Wendy Darling’s bedroom. We listened to the story of Peter Pan and we recreated a scene from the story. We also did some amazing arts and crafts in the afternoon. We made some beautiful fairy houses out of toilet rolls and milk bottles and even made a fairy garden out of different materials.

As Thursday was World Book Day we all came in dressed up as one of our favourite storybook characters. In the morning we had a lovely zoom call with a famous author and we then illustrated a character from one of his books. They were amazing ! At Lunch time we were joined by Jo Jingle and we had a lovely dance about in the hall. Finally, we then all gathered in the hall for our World Book Day assembly and we all had to guess who the masked story tellers were.
