How are we already at Easter? The spring term has been a tricky one as Covid 19 stays with us all. Yet we can all begin to see the light at the end of the pandemic tunnel. Reflecting on this term I can honestly say our children have coped with so many changes in school. People now wearing masks in the corridors, no whole school indoor events, no mixing bubbles etc. We have all worked hard to make these changes as stress free as possible and I can safely say, in our class, we have coped commendably. Getting together to experience celebrations is such a huge part of what we do best at Hadrian, which is why this week was so special in school. We all enjoyed an outdoor Ceilidh on Wednesday afternoon. It was wonderful. Every bubble remained socially distant to keep everyone safe, yet we all managed to be together in a shared outdoor space to enjoy some music and dancing. We are lucky enough to have the best school staff live band. Phil on piano, John on bass, Coralie on violin, Afra on accordion and Tracy on guitar. Mr Rollings led the dances as our star caller. We Walzed and Gay Gordon’d the afternoon away followed by an outdoor picnic There are pictures on our Friends Of Hadrian Facebook page of the whole school. Here are some pictures of our class…
We hope you all have a wonderful Easter. The Easter bunny has been to school already to treat our wonderful children. Take care and stay safe. See you all in 2 week’s time, ready for Summer term to begin.
