Another fun week has passed, these weeks are certainly flying by.
This week has been a quieter week in class, so we started our week off with some fun number work and were practicing recognising numbers 1-5. We are also becoming expert rhymers as we have been doing lots of work recently around words that rhyme and have been practicing our high frequency and CVC words and reading our books daily with an adult and I have to say we are doing amazingly well with recognising Kipper, Biff, Chip, I, the and so many more.
We have carried on this week with our experiments in Science and have been making our own bubbles and wands using different materials, such as a coat hanger, sock and cup. Unfortunately our coat hanger bubble wand and cup trumpet was not the biggest success and we blew and blew but the bubbles kept popping. But, fear not – thankfully our sock snake bubbles were a roaring success and we had lots of fun creating bubble snakes that we put on our friends heads and luckily Shirley was on the job and had some bubble wands for us to play and have lots of fun with.
As always we have enjoyed another fabulous horse riding session and we got to go outside on the horses and look for the chickens and the sheep – yay for the better weather!
We have celebrated Red Nose Day in class today and I have to say we have had some amazing Super Hero’s in class today. We have also enjoyed a fantastic assembly to celebrate the success of our friends around school in our Half Term Achiever assembly.
Have a lovely weekend,
Shirley, Vikki , Louise, Robina and Lisa
