Hello 2024! Hope you all are refreshed and raring to go. What an amazing half term we had at the end of 2023. We’ve participated in trips, exploration, Christmas activities and a visit from the fabulous Timbadash all while still working hard on our individual outcomes.

We kick started the autumn half term with bonfire night (or should we say day) where we watched some fireworks and enjoyed exploring outside in the crisp autumn air. Some of our friends had the opportunity to visit Café Beam in Ouseburn with Dave’s class where we saw some old friends – it was so nice to see some of our old pupils now working in the café!

We worked alongside Timbadash in a six week project in preparation for their new show Wintry Night. We all enjoyed the sessions each week seeing what exciting new world Timbadash created for us. Wintery Night was as beautiful, adventurous, engaging and as we imagined it would be with a lovely visit from Hoot the owl. It was the perfect way to get us in the festive spirit!

Christmas was full of many adventures with elf day where we done a sponsored exploration, the Christmas bus with Santa, nativity play, advent assembly, our class trip to Lilidorei, Christmas carol concert as well as our Christmas show. This was all very busy but so much fun.

We are eager to see what 2024 has to bring and the new topics and adventures we will be participating in.
