Hi everyone – Nursery/Reception 2 have had another fun and busy week.

The children experienced our new music and movement session where we played circle games, moved to action songs and practiced rolling and receiving a ball, as well as having a bounce on a huge ball! It was also a great opportunity for some of the children to use their walkers and standing frames for part of the session.

Our new Sensory story is also being well received by the children – it’s a tale all about ‘Jasper’ the cat looking for the perfect toy – the children will hopefully start to show us their favourites!

On a creative note, the children explored paint with their hands and feet and also made marks by pushing trucks and cars across paper on the floor – they made quite a work of art which we will display in our classroom.

Our jungle area is also proving popular too with the children finding their favourite parts as they play and explore.
