We are learning all about electricity in science. As you know, we went to the Discovery Museum last week which the children absolutely loved and where they found out so much . This week we explored electricity and safety where we learnt how to keep ourselves safe.

We also watched some experiments which explored static electricity. The children were amazed at how objects could move as if by magic. We decided to try for ourselves with a balloon and tissue paper. We rubbed the balloons on our heads and as if by magic our balloons picked up the tissue paper. We also explored different surfaces around the classroom to see if our balloons would stick to them.

We were all scientists with very static hair!
