Visiting and visitors!

Hi – sorry we had problems with our Blog last week but now we are back in business!

We thought we would share with you our fun day trip to the Metrocentre with the children. We visited the Bear Factory, where each child was able to help make their own bear (which turned out to be a rabbit actually!) to take them home to snuggle with. The children enjoyed joining in with the activities such as pressing pedals and switches to fill them with stuffing, choosing a heart for their rabbit and fluffing up their fur with the factory hairdryer!

After the Bear Factory we headed to McDonalds for lunch. We then just had enough time to quickly hop onto the Metro Train for a fun ride around the Centre. The bus journey home was fun too – singing our favourite songs to keep us awake!

The children also really enjoyed a visit from Zoo Lab last week. There was something of interest for everyone – the children were very brave as they reached out to touch some of the reptiles, insects and animals. In fact they were much braver than some of the adults!!
