On Monday we had a wonderful day full of adventures and fun as we went to Druridge bay country park. We spent our morning in the park climbing and investigating all of the parks activities. After lunch we headed down to the beach to collect shells and seaweed to bring back to school for our topic work.
On Tuesday we had a fabulous day starting off with a whole school assembly all about Valentines day and Pancake day as we are not in school next week.
We watched Mr Rollings and Alex make pancakes for us all to try. Some of us had the chance to help and try to flip the pancakes.
In the afternoon we headed to the yurt to make our loved ones some valentines cards.
Wednesday we had a very busy day, we started our morning with dough disco straight after playtime then we went off to the trimtrail to practice our climbing and coordination skills.
We had an arty afternoon making thankyou cards for some of our amazing staff who are moving on to different jobs, followed by a calming meditation session to end our day off.
To end our final week of this half term we had a goodbye sing song for our lovely Fran who has been taking ‘sing school’ sessions at Hadrian for a long time.
We also celebrated Newcastle United in our black and white shirts and clothes to give the boys our support. After lunch we made our way to the Thrive room a favourite role play session of ours.
Class 9 hope you all have a fabulous week off and rest ready for next half term.
