We have had a really busy week, doing lots of learning and thinking.  This half term, we are using the story of ‘Goldilocks and the Three Bears’ to learn about:

  • Big things and small things in our numeracy work
  • Soft and hard in our investigation work
  • Different tastes and textures in food technology

We enjoyed making bear shaped sandwiches in our food technology lesson.  We tasted and chose different fillings for our sandwiches before practising our spreading skills and cutting them into bear shapes.  Of course, real bears eat honey sandwiches, or marmalade, if it’s Paddington!

We were all taken by surprise when it started to snow when we were playing in the quad!  It was loads of fun to make tracks in the snow and feel how cold it was.  We had to come in and warm up with some soft blankets!

Have a great weekend and stay cosy!
