After a crazy busy world book week, we have resumed back to usual routine and started the week off learning about biography’s. We learnt what a biography is and we were all able to sort out texts into different piles. The following day we listened to the story of The Man on the Moon. We then jotted down some key facts about Bob the astronaut in preparation of creating our own biography’s.

On Tuesday we finally got back out to Sir Charles Parsons for our weekly swimming sessions. We had so much fun and we practiced our kicking skills. This was a great opportunity to splash all our teachers.

This half term in Maths we have moved onto measurements. This is something we have picked up really well and we are well and truly showing off our skills. We can compare and describe different objects and we can also use rulers to measure different objects!

On Thursday the sun decided to make an appearance, which was very fortunate as we spent the day out in the Yurt. In the morning we collected natural materials and made some lovely fairy circles in the flow field. In the afternoon we then collected more natural materials and used them to dress our fairy’s’. After that some of us nailed our fairy houses that we made last week to different tree stumps. This was a very tricky job, but we persevered and got the job done.

We hope you all have a lovely weekend and stay safe !
