Good afternoon everyone,
Just a quick little note to say all of our children have worked so hard this week and lots of Dojo points have been given out.
So we decided to treat them this Friday afternoon with choosing time and a film.

Hello everyone,
This is our first whole week with our new teacher Andrew and all the children are happy, Rachel is still with us for the next 3 weeks though. We have also introduced a new support assistant Beth and it feels like she’s always been here so all good in class 13.
We had a great time in the snow on Monday sledging down the little slope in the adventure playground. The children again worked really well in English and Maths, the lessons are running so smoothly which is great. In Food Technology we made Chinese dragon biscuits which the children ate at snack time and they were yummy. We ran through the same PE lesson as last week but just worked them a tiny bit harder, a lot of huffing and puffing was going on.
On Friday we had a Chinese New Year assembly with food being cooked, fortune cookies, dressing up and lots of singing.
Have a fab weekend

Hello everyone,
What a week we’ve had! its flown by and starting to become very festive in school. But first we had to squeeze some work in, Monday we were balancing items in maths. The children we’re pretty good at it as well and enjoyed it. In the afternoon we made what we we’re calling monkey treats, banana dipped in chocolate and sprinkles very tasty. Tuesday we spent a lot of time outside first doing some road safety on our zebra crossing in the carpark. The children especially liked this and in the afternoon we had outdoor learning finding sticks and leaves to and exact weight and measurement.
We got to go swimming on Wednesday which is always fun and the children are becoming so much more confident in the water. When we got back to school we made some Christingles which will be coming home for you to see. Thursday was a lovely day with our Advent assembly, the huge Christmas tree lights were turned on in the school hall and we also decorated our classroom. In the afternoon we had our lovely friend the storyteller come in to school and entertained us.
Friday was Half term achievers so the children got to watch all the fabulous videos of children in other classes which they always enjoy.
Last week swimming next Wednesday until next year.
On Monday morning Class 13 worked really hard on their outcomes in English and Maths. In the afternoon some of the children enjoyed watching the World Cup match while others practiced their fine motor skills with some potato peeling to make mashed potato.
Midweek we started rehearsing for our Christmas show obviously it is under wraps…. We’ve cast and got our costumes nearly ready, need to get our dance moves perfected next.
Thursday we had an Egyptian God hunt in the classroom and we had to match them with our worksheet then colour in.
Have a good weekend everyone and stay safe….
Hi everyone! This week in class 13 the children had their swimming session at Charles Parson’s on Wednesday, they are growing in confidence and we were particularly proud of Madres for taking part and really enjoying the session.
In Food Technology the children made egg and cress sandwiches using the cress they have been growing as part of the class Science experiment. They really enjoyed eating it too! In Art and Design, the children have continued their learning about Ancient Egyptians by making some fantastic Egyptian jewelry.
Class 13 ended their week by coming to school in their pyjamas/own clothes for Children in Need. They all looked fantastic and loved taking part in a Pudsey Potato competition as part of a special assembly.
Hi everyone hope you’re all doing well? We’ve been super creative this week making woolly poppies and Egyptian death masks. We are still looking at the Egyptians and we did the poppies for our Remembrance Assembly today, we sang some lovely songs.
On Wednesday we had an extra special treat, the Fire Brigade came to see us. We were allowed to sit in the truck try helmets on and even fire the hose, great fun!
Hopefully swimming will be back on next Wednesday. Have a fab weekend.
