This week our Hydro pool opened up again for the first time this year, so we had a lovely treat and went for a swim on Tuesday morning which we all loved. We showed off our skills that we learnt in our swimming lessons at Sir Charles Parsons and we played lots of fun games.

Since the start of the year, we have become much more independent bakers and we have been really eager to make our own pizzas. So this week in class we turned our classroom into an Italian restaurant and chopped up different toppings to go on our pizzas. They were very very tasty!

On Wednesday, we had a lovely day out in the yurt. We wrote acrostic poems about our favourite foods and we also had a cosy afternoon watching films and having lovely snacks.

Thursday was a very fun day for us all, we had an amazing rebound party for Jessica’s birthday. We played lots of great music and had some lovely cake when we got back to class. We also ventured out again to the Pegasus centre for our weekly horse riding lessons, which once again was great.

Yet again this Friday afternoon we had football club again at lunch time with Rachael’s class. This was a lot of fun and we played another great game of dodgeball, however, this time we mixed classes and worked in different teams against one another !

As it is Children in Needs this week, we all dressed up in our pyjamas and Pudsey outfits. We all looked amazing and we even went on a hunt around the school to find as many different coloured spots as we could to win a prize.

We would like to say a big well done to Violet this week for getting a certificate in this weeks achievers assembly for her amazing Maths work this week!

We hope you have a lovely weekend and stay safe!
