What a wonderful week!!

We had an amazing week packed with lots of fun and activities. Our children were buzzing with excitement to make the best of the Halloween week. There was so much to do, so we incorporated all of our lessons around Halloween. In Design Technology we made our own witch and ghost to hang on the tree and in Art we used paints, crayons and felt pens to draw and colour in the props for our poster on the door. We carved pumpkins and went on a pumpkin trail, we then counted how many pumpkins we each found and who had the most. In English we read “There’s a Witch in my Book” then described the witch using adjectives in our English books.

This week was the last session with Katie from “Fun little Foodies”, where we made fruit scones and then designed a front cover for our very little own recipe book, which the children will take home after half term break.

Today our children and the grown-ups came dressed up in their Halloween costumes and had a lovely party playing games and dancing. They are definitely ready for a half term break.
