This week, we started a new Roald Dahl story called The Twits. We practised our language skills by answering questions using full sentences about a beach scene. In maths, we have been learning about halves and quarters. In science, we carried out an experiment with magnets, finding out which items were attracted to magnets or not attracted. We enjoyed the flapjacks we made in cooking for our afternoon snack. We also started our term’s topic about the Ancient Egyptians and created a silhouette painting of the pyramids.
