Hi everyone,

Hope you have all had a wonderful and fun week off. Can you believe it is the last half term before summer?

We have had a great week, the children are refreshed and excited to be back. We started the week with a trip to Riverside Park, they loved running around and playing with their friends. We were introducing our new science topic Pushes and Pulls! They loved pushing their friends down the slide and pulling themselves up the equipment.

Mubarak Eid or Happy Eid to you all! We have been learning all about the celebration of Eid, the food eaten, the decorations, Mosques and various music. We decorated hands like henna and made biscuits and cards for the children who were off school celebrating.  Mahnoor made a special appearance and brought a cake in for us all to share! Look at how beautiful she looks!

On Thursday, we decided to use the afternoon to have a feast with curry, rice and nan bread.

Just a reminder:

The coffee afternoon on 10th June is cancelled and rescheduled for 17th June from 1:30pm onwards. I hope you all like ice-cream!

Monday 17th June – Morning – we are visiting Wheelbirks – a £3 donation would be greatly appreciated.

Tuesday 18th is Mr Tumble and Sofia and Dua will be at Alnwick Gardens. The children will be divided into different classes to have a fun day with new children!

Monday 24th June is Adventure land – this links to our farm topic and will be all day. Please dress your child appropriately – trousers and their school jumper and t shirt.

Monday 1st July – BEACH TRIP!  This will be an all day trip.
