Here we are, the final day of the final term of this incredible school year! It has been another year full of fun and friendship here in Marc’s class and we are absolutely over the moon with the progress we have all made! From communication to social skills and everything in between, we could not be more thrilled with how well we have all thrived this year!

These last few weeks have been a very fitting end to such a momentous year. You can see all the highlights in the finale episode of our Blogcast here!

Our Year 6 Activity Week was a roaring success and we had great fun at Newburn Leisure Centre, Prudhoe Waterworld, South Shields Pleasure Beach, Hall Hill Farm and Inflatanation! Check out some photos below:

We also had lots of fun at our Music Festival. The ‘Musical Meander’ featured lots of different types of music from jazz to classical to music from Africa! We loved the carnival, cèilidh and live music courtesy of Phil Cookson and his band and some stellar rapping from James Oglethorpe (accompanied by a very talented DJ!)  Check out photos below:

And lastly, we must say a huge congratulations and farewell to our Year 6 friends! There wasn’t a dry eye in the house during this year’s Leavers’ Assembly as we watched the progression of our friends from their first days at Hadrian to now. We know you will continue to thrive in you new schools and we are incredibly proud of you all! Check out photos below:

Have an amazing and safe Summer Holidays everybody! We’ve had a blast!

See you in September,

Marc
