As we have been learning about the Rainforest in out topic work, we decided to take a trip down to Sunderland winter gardens. We had a look at many different plants and trees that grow in the rainforest and we learnt a lot about the different animals that live there. By the end of the day we could name the different layers of the rainforest and decide where the different animals live within them.
This week we have also continued our Samba dancing and we joined another class on Thursday for our weekly Samba catch up. We are loving getting to work with all our friends around the school again, as we enjoy being very sociable.
We have also been working very hard in our Maths this week! We have started to recognise the concept of half and we can now share amounts in half with our friends. We have also worked hard on our phonics and done a lot of reading and name writing to consolidate the skills we already have.
We hope you have a lovely weekend and stay safe!
