This week we have been super busy and we have had so much fun!

On Monday we all celebrated the Queens Jubilee with all of our friends. we learnt the signs for the national anthem and danced about outside to our school band. We also had a lovely picnic and we are very grateful for all the snacks that were sent.

On Tuesday we managed to get down to Sir Charles Parsons for our swimming lessons. We haven’t been in a while, however our skills have not left us. We learnt some new skills and some of us were even able to do breast stroke independently!

On Wednesday our year 6’s went for their second transition visit to Sir Charles parsons. They were all so amazing and got involved with the different activities that they were set. They also really enjoyed their playtime outside seeing all their new friends.

On Thursday we all took a trip down to Beamish for the day. This was such a lovely day and we were so grateful that the weather stayed nice for it. We saw so many different Victorian houses, buildings and shops and we got to experience what school was like in those times. We also managed to get on the bus and tram to ride around the village, which was great fun. We were full of so many different questions and showed great enthusiasm throughout the whole day.

We hope you all have a lovely weekend and we cannot wait for our next trip on Tuesday !
