Hi everyone,
We had an exciting afternoon on Monday. Bag Books came into school and read a sensory story about animals and going to the zoo. The children decided it was Mason who was going to the zoo with his Mammy and the story was all about what animal he was. They were all engaged and waited very patiently for the props so they could feel, smell and look at them. We learnt all about the different animals and that they are lovely little children not animals. The children loved the long elephant trunk that made a loud trumpet noise. They were all adventurous – smelling the skunk and feeling the different animal skins.
Just a reminder
Next Thursday – 29th November – all day. We are visiting Beamish Museum to learn all about old and new toys for our Humanities topic. Please ensure your child is wrapped up nice and warm with their school uniform on.
Monday 10th December – We are visiting Hall Hill Farm with Nadia’s class for our Christmas trip. Thank you all so much for your donations.
