What a busy week we have had filled with lots of fun activities! To start the week we celebrated Harvest Festival around the world, we chose a country which represented a member of our class, we chose Italy! We stomped on grapes and also mashed them to make into ‘wine’ for Mr Rolling’s and Mrs Stokle to try in our Harvest assembly.
We then moved onto our sensory story of the week – The Gingerbread Man. We loved listening to the story, smelling ginger and mixed spice, mixing the ingredients and using our fine motor skills to roll out the ginger playdough and cut into a gingerbread man shape ready for the oven. We also decorated our own gingerbread man!
We also had a special visit from some Soldier’s who showed us their military truck, lots of messy play and some music therapy.
