We have had such a busy week this week, our last week of the Spring Term. In fact, we have had such a busy half term with lots of exciting activities.

This week we have been thinking about Ramadan which marks important holidays and events for people who practice Islam. During Ramadan people fast or refrain from eating and drinking while it’s light outside. At the end of the month of fasting, there is Eid al-Fitr which is the festival to celebrate the end of Ramadan. In our class we have begun to explore these important events and when we come back after Easter we will continue to have the opportunity to explore different activities.

We have also been exploring Easter related activities as it will be Easter next weekend. Easter is another religious festival which celebrates new life. We have been getting involved in different activities and are looking forward to some time at home with our families over the next two weeks.

We had a surprise visitor this afternoon! And also many thanks to Dolcie May’s family who gave everyone in class and egg! (and delicious cakes for the grown ups too!)

We would like to take this opportunity to thank you for your continued support and hope you have a happy, healthy holiday.

Jess, Babs, Labli and Corrie.
