Our second session with TimbaDash focused on the theme of air! Check out our aerial adventure in our behind the scenes video here!
…it’s Marc’s class! We’ve had a great couple of weeks here in school – but don’t take my word for it, check out episode 5 of our Blogcast, here!
We had a great time in the yurt on Monday. After each group caught a different ‘Imagination Bus’ to our destination, we celebrated our own achievements and what we are good at. Just as superheroes have special powers, we thought about and discussed our own talents and powers (and threw in some drama for good measure!) Take a look:
Shout out to DJ Yahya, number one master of ceremonies who decided whether we should move ‘fast’ or move ‘slow’:
We had a blast for Harvest Festival this week – each class represented a different country and produced a delicious treat to try. Our Indian spiced Thandai fudge burfi was a major hit! Check out how we made it below:
Well done for another great week everyone – we can’t believe there’s only two weeks until half term!

Check out Episode 3 of our Blogcast here!
We are very pleased to say that our first three weeks of the new school year have been absolutely fantastic! We have really settled in well and we have really wowed each other with how amazingly clever, talented and amazing we really are! We must first say a huge congratulations to our very first half-term achiever, Sehrish! During her final weeks of Year 3 Sehrish proved just how well she can use her VOCA to communicate as well as her amazing walking skills! Well done Sehrish!
We managed to find time to take a trip on our new and improved ‘Imagination Bus’ this week, complete with driver!
We had our first football session with Graeme this week. Can we kick it? Yes we can!
We also made some delicious sandwiches this week! We took our time to carefully choose the ingredients we wanted to use and thoroughly enjoyed putting the sandwiches together (and eating them of course!)
Last but not least, happy birthday to both Eyah and Mahnoor!
Thank you to those that comment on our blog posts, we really appreciate the positive feedback! Have a lovely weekend!

Our second session with TimbaDash focused on the theme of water! Take a look at some photos below and check out our behind the scenes video here!
We’ve had a great second week here in Marc’s class! We’ve begun catching the ‘Imagination Bus’ to different areas around school. We must wait for the right number bus to appear before lining up as a group and moving to our destination! Today we visited our outdoor ‘shop’ on our decking to choose and pay for what we wanted for our snack. Take a look:
We worked extremely hard in our P.E lesson and Rebound session!
We had a fantastic time listening to La Sonora. Check out our dance moves:
Look out for episode 2 of our Blogcast which will be available to view very soon!
Thanks,
Marc
Thursday 9th September saw the first multi-sensory drama workshop with our partners, TimbaDash. This ‘party’ themed session is the first of many, building towards a collaborative drama performance later in the Autumn term. The children in John’s class absolutely loved interacting with the performers as well as the balloons, lights and confetti (and food!)
You can take a look at some of the photos below and you can watch our behind the scenes video here!
We’re really looking forward to the next session, focusing on ‘water’ and can’t wait to see how the project develops!

Hello everyone! It’s great to be back here at Hadrian with a new class of amazing children. We hit the ground running this week with lots of getting to know you activities – we all introduced ourselves well and were keen to show our friends what kind of thing we are interested in!
We also really showed off our acting skills, performing a dramatic retelling of Jack and the Beanstalk. We expertly portrayed the emotions of happiness, sadness, anger and fear!
Between all of that we even got a chance to celebrate Marc’s birthday! Good times were had by all! Look out for the first episode of our Blogcast coming very soon!
Thanks,
Marc and class team
