Fantastic boots for AFOS

If your child wears AFOs you will understand the struggles with finding shoes to fit and how hard it can be getting shoes over AFOs.

These boots made by Billy boots are fantastic !Ā  BILLY Footwear has revolutionized how shoes are put on and taken off. By incorporating a zipper that goes along the side of the shoe and around the toe, the upper of each shoe opens and folds over completely. The design allows for unobstructed foot placement onto the shoe footbed. Then with a flip and a zip, the shoe securely closes.

Does your child receive continence products ?Ā If so you will know they have recently changed suppliers from TENA to Hartman. The nursing team are holding a coffee morningĀ at 10am onĀ Friday 30th November with a representative from Hartman’s to hold a discussion of any issues or concerns you may have.

 

Your child will have a letter with reply slip in their diary, please complete and return it if you are interested in coming along to this session.

Another busy and productive coffee morning with the Pass it on Parents ladies ! Doing their fabulous stuff.

These relaxed coffee mornings are once a month in school and the next date is Friday 30th November, they run from 10am – 11.30am.

Our Families Advice and Support Team offers information, advice and support for families of disabled children in Newcastle. The team can help you with problems, and help you apply for funding. They can let you know about activities and services for your child and your family.

Pass it on Parents Newcastle is a parents group that supports families with children who have additional needs living in Newcastle upon Tyne, UK. We are part of the Family Advice and Support Team based at Skills for People,

Our Pass it on Parents peer support team, reaches around 1600 family carers through its facebook group. We strongly believe in the value of parent to parent support, and would like to help other parents by sharing experience and knowledge at one of our drop-in sessions or coffee mornings. Come along and find out some useful information that may help you or your family.

 

 

 

Weekdays and weekend sessions are now available at the Rebound Therapy Centre.

Since the Rob Armstrong Rebound Therapy Centre has opened there has never been a better time to get involved with Rebound at Hadrian School.

We are so proud of the achievements pupils are making on the trampoline and we would love to share this with parents and carers.

Rebound Therapy is such an immersive way of learning physical, communitive and social skills that both users andĀ facilitators can enjoy.

We are now offering weekend and evening sessions for Rebound Therapy. If you’re looking for looking for a fun way of interacting and learningĀ please sign up for a session at Hadrian today!

Sessions are available on Tuesday and Thursday eveningsĀ from 4.30pm – 6.30pm and Saturday mornings from 10.00am – 12.30pm. We will also be running sessions in the school holidays, as well as facilitating ‘Rebound Therapy Parties!’
