Our relaxed screening programme is open to all, but is particularly mindful of neurodiverse audiences, with adjustments in place to create an inclusive, relaxed environment for everyone.
After booking a ticket, you’ll receive a Social Story document to outline what to expect at the screening, including information about the film, our building and how the day will run.

Swim North East have trial lessons in November at sports central in town.
They are small group lessons and amazing ( very inclusive )

We had a busy but wonderful day in the hairshop this term!
Lots of new children visiting for a haircut or pamper and some of our older helping out to clean up, sweep up and they also done a fantastic job keeping the younger children entertained.

Relaxed Story times
Saturday Mornings, 10 am
As part of our Saturday early openings, we will be running relaxed story times to support visitors who would prefer to visit Seven Stories at a quieter, calmer time. Aimed at visitors with autism and other neurodiverse needs, as well as their siblings, families, and carers.
Tickets are £2 per child

This relaxed session is for autistic visitors, visitors with learning disabilities or sensory and communication disorders, along with their families and carers. Or anyone else who feels they need a quieter experience of the museum. If that’s not you, please visit after 10am.
