We have come to the end of the second last week. We were very lucky this week to have a visit from PC Alice and Sgt Rob. The children had a great time exploring the police van and learning about what the police can do and how they are here to help us. We have been getting ready for the holidays and the children’s reports will be home soon.

What a fantastic and active week we have had. We have taken part in welly wangling, boxing, karate, golf, tennis, football, dodgeball, yoga and many more activities. I will send some videos over class dojo showing more of the great week we have had. Our country was Japan and we had a lovely time exploring the land of the rising sun. In our final celebration we have had a Japan themed party with sushi and sweets from Japan. Have a lovely weekend.

We have been nominated to represent Japan for our own Olympics. This week we have been exploring Japanese culture. We have been Sumo wrestling, dancing in traditional Japanese style, creating flags and art pieces as well as learning how to say hello in Japanese. There will be a video sent home via class dojo so you can see the dancing. Next week we will be taking part in sporting activities such as karate, boxing, dodge ball, yoga and so much more. We have the opening and closing ceremony to look forward to on Monday and Friday. Have a lovely weekend.

We have had a wonderful week. We watched another showing of the Shakespeare production with the Key Stage 1 children socially distanced in the school hall. We had a lovely time in the mud kitchen and making cards with our feet. We have also started looking forward the Olympics. Our class has been chosen to explore Japan and we can’t wait to get involved.

We have came to the end of a busy half term. The last few weeks we have been taking part in the Shakespeare School’s Festival and we look forward to June to see the finished. We have also enjoyed an Art Exhibition in the Caterpillar Garden as well as our first swimming lesson this week. There will be more art photos in the next Hadrian Herald.

Happy Eid everyone. This week we have been working on our art pieces for the outdoor art exhibition. We also have been practicing for our part in the Shakespeare Schools Festival by dancing in the class to Thriller. We hope to start filming soon. This week our highlight has been having an Easter craft day in the yurt which ended in a party. We have also enjoyed practicing what would we do in an emergency. We had some mixed results and I think we need some more practice in the future. Have a lovely weekend.

This week we have been busy making a very special video for our St Patrick’s Day celebrations next week. We have also had a lovely time in the yurt yesterday where we made a Thai green curry. On Wednesday we will be having a St Patrick’s Day assembly and our class will be judging the key stage 2 entries. Have a lovely weekend.

This week we have been enjoying the first glimpses of the sun and had a great time litter picking and exploring the mud kitchen. We have also started playing cricket in PE and table cricket in the classroom. The children have worked during their first week back and we have welcomed some old friends back to the class and we are all looking forward to the 2nd half of the Spring Term. Have a lovely weekend.

Hi Everyone
We hope that you enjoy our pictures from making ice sculptures, playing in the snow as well as the other activities we have been doing this week. We celebrated Shrove Tuesday early by making pancakes on the school bus. We had great fun this afternoon taking with a singing session outdoors and trying some Chinese food for Chinese New Year.
