Wow what great fun we had in the mud kitchen. We used the hose pipe to fill trays and buckets that we were able to splash in allowing us to get nice and wet, don’t worry we had our wellies and waterproofs on.
Look at the fun we’ve had in class this week. We have been mark making, threading, reading stories, making patterns and pictures, building towers, completing inset puzzles, playing outdoors as well as using other rooms around school such as the Soft Play.
Also Armaan has been having longer visits with us so he can get to know all his friends before he starts school full time.
Well a bit of rain doesn’t stop our fun! Some of us put on waterproofs and wellies to brave the rain for some wonderful fun in the adventure playground, the mud kitchen and the wildlife garden. We might have got a little bit wet but it was definitely worth it.
We had great fun this week during our Messy Play. We used flour, pasta, oats and bran flakes that we could mix together, transfer to different containers and generally make a mess with. We also made different shapes by using cutters with our play dough and then attempted to make some bread for our Harvest Festival, we measured our ingredients, mixed them together, rolled out the dough and got very sticky hands while rolling out our bread buns. They smelt yummy.
Just look at the great fun some of us had at Sensory Circuits, we looked at lights, swung on the swing, banged on the drum, relaxed in the hammock, bounced on the trampoline and played in the ball pool, what a fabulous session with some excellent communication.
This week we welcomed Finley to school and what a wonderful week he had, he even got a certificate in assembly for settling in so well.
On Tuesday we had a lovely surprise visit from Alice, who worked in school with us but left in the summer to become a police officer, even in her uniform Zack recognized her straight away.
Well what a different week of weather we’ve had, so each time the rain stopped we grabbed our coats and got out in the fresh air to explore the school grounds. The Adventure Playground certainly is a fun place to be.
This week we welcomed Phoebe to school, she has settled in really well and already started to make friends.
We took advantage of the nice weather and made sure we had lots of fun outdoors in the beautiful sunshine.
We’ve also had great fun in messy playing painting our hands and making finger prints
This week we welcomed Mehvish and Alamin to school and helped to show them all the fun we have each day.
We’ve had great fun playing in Soft Play, exploring the toys in the classroom and splashing about in the Hydro pool.
Welcome back everyone, we hope you all had a wonderful holiday and are ready for the new school year. We would like to welcome back Aaron and Zack and say hello to some of our new friends, Oliwier, Wiktoria, Sophia and Ella. So far this week we’ve had great fun playing with new toys, exploring the Sensory room and having Music Therapy with Bev. Keep watching to see as more class mates join us and see all the wonderful things we get up to at Hadrian.
Well what a way to end such a wonderful year, we had a fabulous party to help Karl and Noah celebrate their 5th birthdays. We played party games, danced with balloons and ate lots of yummy food.
We would like to take this opportunity to say a huge thank you to everyone and wish you all a wonderful summer holiday.
