This week we have been gathering resources for the Halloween week competition and keeping everything in order as we are so looking forward to winning some of them. We got the inspiration from the literacy lesson on Vashti a little girl who did not know how to draw, but eventually with lots of encouragement and will power she became an artist. Our children discussed their personal stories when they could not either ride a bike, or swim or even draw and how with help from their loved ones and lots of practice they mastered it. It was lovely to hear all the wonderful experiences. Katie from Fun little Foodies taught us how to make macaroni cheese, which looked delicious and we all just wanted to eat it straightaway. We chopped some veggies, we counted pieces of corn and we chopped some ham slices and revised our food topic all over again. We are now becoming very clever at saying where food comes from. To top it all, our children did lovely swimming and all got certificates, Charlie  got an extra one for being brave in Rebound and Anthony got a medal for being a kind friend.
