On Wednesday we had a wonderful trip to the Great North Museum. We took part in a dinosaur workshop where we had to dig for fossils! We used our detective skills to discover and identify lots of different dinosaur fossils and eggs. We even found some sharp dinosaur teeth! On our walk around the museum we came across a huge T Rex skeleton! It was so much bigger than us but we were very brave.
On Monday we had our sensory story. We searched through a snow storm, a river, and a swamp to find a dinosaur! In the afternoon we had a very busy PE lesson. We have been working super hard on our balancing. Look how good we are!
On Tuesday we got prepared for our Harvest Festival by singing lots of songs, making Polish Cream Fudge, and going on an autumn leaf hunt! We used the leaves to make a fantastic tree picture for our classroom.
On Thursday we had another fun session in the hydrotherapy pool. It’s one of our favourite things to do! In the afternoon, we went to the food tech room to make some delicious sandwiches. We had to choose between bread or bagels and chocolate spread or jam (some of us even had both!)
On Friday we worked very hard practicing our mark making and fine motor skills. We also worked on our social skills by playing some turn taking games and being very kind to each other. We even had time for a lovely story before going home for the weekend.
