Dear Parents/Carers

We have had a very busy first full week back. We have settled into our new timetable and enjoyed our first educational visit as a class to Newburn Park. We are very pleased to announce our student councillors for this year will be Niamh and Zoeya.  They were chosen by their peers via a class vote. Next week we will be continuing the early stages of the Shakespeare School’s festival. On Wednesday we will begin our community skills sessions. This will involve visits to Newcastle on public transport. All the children will participate but in small groups. I will finalise groups on Monday and send a letter home.  The highlights this week have been our art session focusing using anger as a medium and our baking soda experiment in science where we have begun our reversible and irreversible changes topic.
