Our class topic for Humanities this term is ‘Holiday’. We will be exploring all the different types of holidays and the excitement that comes along with them.

To start off our topic we have been looking into all the things you would need to take on holiday and how to get there. We have packed our own cases, made our own passports and set up our own train station in class! At the moment we are focusing on holidays you can enjoy in England so we set up our own Seaside holiday in the adventure playground! Luckily the sunshine was out too, so we could discuss what kind of clothes you need to wear and how important sun cream is. As fun as the seaside is the children had their own idea of what a holiday should be, so our seaside trip quickly turned into a trip to Dubai! Next week we will be visiting Africa on the airplane.
