We have been so busy this week that we forgot to take photos of some of the lovely activities we have been doing! We had great fun on Tuesday celebrating Harvest around the world; our country was Spain and we stomped on lots of grapes to make ‘wine’ for Mr Rollings to try in assembly. We also had a lovely day on Thursday in the Yurt; we each had a turn sitting on the big drum and controlled whether our friends played their instruments fast or slow, then in the afternoon we snuggled up by the fire to watch a movie and drink hot chocolate.
We have continued our Africa topic this week using frozen paint to make patterned Art to display in class. Some of us have also been cutting, sticking and matching the African animals we have learnt so far, and we have been practicing our fine motor skills by colouring in pictures of the animals.
We promise to take more photos next week for our blog!
