What a great week everyone has had. Along with our usual lessons, there’s been lots of fun sessions and even a trip. We began the week working on our Shakespeare performance. We were learning the basics of acting and played games to sharpen our acting skills. Over the coming weeks, we still start rehearsing and getting into character.
On Tuesday we were finally back to Charles Parsons for our swimming session! Although we love a spontaneous trip to our hydro pool, we all benefit so much from the extra space to practice our skills in the water (and of course the floaties at the end of the session).
We were back to practicing Shakespeare on Wednesday, everyone is so excited to be performance ready and show you all! We were also lucky enough to be in the Yurt. We brought the outside in for our Maths lessons, collecting outside objects and measuring them in cubes.
Thursday marked our first trip out as a class. We attended Riverside Ten Pin Bowling for a tournament against 7 other schools. Everyone tried really hard and we managed to take third place! We all got medals and even a framed certificate to displace in the sports centre. It was so lovely to see the children thriving in a new environment and the behaviour from each and every one of them made us all really proud.
Friday is always great in our class. After a great assembly the children loved playing on the adventure playground. We had football after lunch which is always a great hit and finally finished the day with choice time.
We hope everyone has a great weekend!
