Hello and welcome to our blog! Happy world book day everyone, we have all had a wonderful day today! This morning we have had a story read to us by our very own Emma in year 6 and it was brilliant. We have had lots of stories and we have really enjoyed playing as the characters we have dressed up as.
In the afternoon we had our world book day assembly which was amazing. Year 6 performed their take on ‘We’re Going on a Bear Hunt’ to celebrate its 30th anniversary. It was superb and they really put on a show. We then watched Nathan read his own take on the Hare and the Tortoise which was brilliant.
We then displayed lots of the work we carried out with robots, showing off the books we have read and showing everyone how they influenced us to carry out literacy, numeracy, DT, PE and music, where we performed our song ‘The Robot People’.
We have had a lovely day today and the children thoroughly enjoyed themselves.
