This week Hadrian School celebrated harvest with a special assembly… ‘The Great Hadrian Bake Off’.  Each class entered the competition using imagination and their taste buds to create the perfect flavoured bread! The children in our class headed to the food technology room and got to work on our cinnamon and raisin bread. We all enjoyed getting involved, Yahya enjoyed weighing the ingredients, Fatima and Aaron particularly had fun adding the ingredients to the bowl; everyone else liked stirring the ingredients, smelling the cinnamon and most importantly kneading the bread! We may not have won the competition this year, however we had the best time participating.

Also one of the highlights of this week was our music therapy session with Bev our Music Therapist. Bev brought along her keyboard this week which was a big hit with the children.  While the children each had a turn of tapping the tambourine, Bev played the keyboard in sync to each individual child’s rhythm, this created a great atmosphere of excitement and truly had the children engaged. The children enjoyed tapping the tambourine fast, slow, loud and quiet; there was lots of smiling and dancing when joining in with our classmates musical formations.

See you next week for more updated on the fun we are having in school, Loveday and Team.
