Hi everyone,
We had such a fantastic trip to the Blyth Beach on Monday! We were very lucky with the weather as the sun was shining. We started the day by removing our socks and shoes to feel the lovely sand on our feet. The children were jumping onto the sand, making sandcastles and collecting shells and stones.
We decided that to make the best sandcastle we needed wet sand. So some of us ventured down to the sea to collect water for all of our friends.
The children were so care free, running away from the waves, collecting water and splashing each other. They defiantly don’t feel the cold! What a joy it was watching them so independent and confident in the sea. Since playing on the sand and in the sea is such hard work we decided chips and an ice cream were in order.
Then it was time for the park! They played with each other so well, encouraging each other to come and stand on the boat and pushing each other down the slide!
Erin was our Half Term Achiever, she has made amazing progress in her self help skills, communication and confidence. What a coincidence that it was also her birthday. Just look at her dancing with her friends!
I can’t believe there is only 2 weeks left. I hope you all have a lovely weekend and I will hopefully see you all at the Family Fun Day tomorrow from 11am.
Thank you to everyone purchased their children’s art work!
Jess, Michele, Katherine and Sharon
