Hello, hello, hello!
What a fantastic first full week back! We’ve gained some new friends in Loveday’s class this year, so we have had lots of fun getting to know each other and building relationships.
We have done this in lots of different ways, one of which being in our ‘Play Space’. With 11 busy bodies and lots of hard work to be had Hadrian decided our class needed two classrooms! One whole room dedicated to exploring, investigating and creating. In our ‘Play Space’ we have separate areas we can work around. From mark making to building and role play our new play space is the perfect room for us to be in control of our own learning.
As well as some play space time our original timetable is still in place, with an added extra.
Sensory Art!
Our first Sensory art session was a huge hit. We each used paint, cotton wool, paint brushes, tweezers and card to create a picture of the sky. The perfect opportunity to boost our fine motor skills as well as get in touch with our creative messy sides.
After we used up the card we decided to paint Amy and Louise too!
Jabadao!
Getting straight back into routine, our jabadao sessions are a fantastic way to get active, make choices and explore all of the different ways we can move our bodies. Take a look!
